Open Meetings - January 2026

The Ontonagon County REA board of Directors have made the decision to open monthly board meetings to the public. The open meetings will start in January 2026.

The board is looking for input and suggestions on how these open meetings could look.

Some thoughts so far are:

• Invite the public to the meetings in person or via Zoom.
• Where to hold possible in person meetings if attendance exceeds REA office capacity.
• How to contain the meeting if a public attendee goes beyond just listening as an observer and interrupts.
